Delaware Moving & Storage Overview Delaware Moving and Storage is one of the largest Wheaton Van Line agents in the Mid-Atlantic region and is a two generation, family owned and operated business founded by  James
W. Hopkins in 1984. Mr. Hopkins was originally involved with another
Moving company which was started by his father back in 1946. As Mr.
Hopkins sons learned the moving industry they decided to branch out
and start their own moving company.
November of 1984, Delaware Moving and Storage became a reputable mover serving the entire tri-state area as well as across the country. It was not long after that, that the community notice our attention to quality service and dependability and in 1991 Mr. Hopkins received the prestigious award of "Small Business Person of the Year". Delaware Moving and Storage started with 3500 square feet of warehouse space and now we are proud to say we have over 40,000 square feet of warehouse space. Delaware Moving and Storage acquired two pieces of moving equipment in 1984 and just 16 years later we have over 30 pieces of moving equipment dedicated to the moving and storage industry.
